Project Director

Erica Q. Thompson MD, MPH, CDFS, is a public health practitioner dedicated to preventive health and well –being with a passion for patient, employee and community wellness. At Magnolia Medical Foundation, Erica is responsible for overseeing health interventions, health coaching, and programs that promote health literacy and wellness and address cost and quality in health care. Erica earned her medical degree at Brown University Medical School in Providence, Rhode Island, her Masters of Public Health from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and her Bachelor of Science degree from Tougaloo College.

Dr. Thompson provides direct oversight of the MS ACE Project and supports the project’s progress toward improving health outcomes for Black mothers and their babies.
